We were delighted to win the Golden Boot prize from our "Stepping Up Our Energy" week. Every day we used a pedometer to measure our steps during our school day. Extra activites included "Just Dance" and a "Skipathon". We had a very active week and walked over 20,000 steps!
On the 18th of October we went on a science trail to Corkagh Park, We carried out a woodland habitat survey. We studied the Sycamore, the Ash, the Horse Chestnut and the Hawthorn tress among others. We used an isosceles triangle and our own height to measure the height of these very tall trees.
